        Lhasa is the capital of Xizang Tibetan Autonomous Region, about 12,000 feet above sea level, is a city built on the roof of the world. It is known as the “City of Sunlight” for its average annual sunlight time of 3,005 hours.   Because of the high altitude in Lhasa, tourists with high blood pressure or heart disease should consult their doctor(s) before you make the reservation.
