QUFU 

        Qufu, the birthplace of Confucius (551-479 B.C.), was the capital of the ancient State of Lu 3000 years ago.  The Temple of Confucius built in 478 B.C., the Forest of Confucius & the Confucius Family Mansion built in 1038 are the main attractions for Chinese & foreign visitors.
