China

China is a nation with 6,000 years of civilization and over 1.3 billion population (or 22 percent of the global total), a nation in the process of reform and opening to the rest of the world, and a nation which beckons to you with its magnificent landscape, splendid culture, richly variegated folklore, and a land pockmarked with numerous cultural artifacts, sites of storied and fabled associations, and holiday destinations.  China, a multiracial country, is home to 56 ethnic peoples: Han, Manchu, Mongol, Hui, Tibetan, Uygur, Miao, Yi, Zhuang,…etc.  In addition to visiting Beijing, the legendary "Great Wall," Shanghai, you may plan to visit the world’s “eighth wonder” – Emperor Qinshhuangdi’s mighty army of terracotta warriors that have lain underground for more than two millennia.  You may travel along the “Silk Road” for a closer look at China’s rich cultural heritage and varied folklore.  Or you may go aboard a pleasure ship and sail into the “Three Gorges” of the Yangtze River.  China welcomes you to visit her.
